Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

​

To secure a place on a course, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.  An invoice will be issued upon registration. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.  The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the course start date. For bookings made within 14 days of the course start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

 

2. Pricing

Course fees are charged at £125 per person per day and £20 per online module, unless otherwise stated.

 

3. Cancellations & Refunds (Participant)

​

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

  • More than 21 days before the course start date: Refund of all payments made, minus the deposit

  • 8–21 days before the course start date: 50% refund of the total course fee

  • 7 days or less before the course start date: No refund available

​

Deposits are non-refundable, except in the event that the course is cancelled by us.

 

4. Course Changes & Cancellation (Seawilding)

 

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify course content, location, or schedule where necessary due to weather, environmental conditions, or operational requirements

  • Cancel or reschedule a course if required (e.g. inclement weather conditions)

  • ​

If we cancel a course, participants will be offered a full refund.  We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation).

 

5. Health, Safety & Fitness

​

Participants are responsible for:

​

  • Ensuring they are physically fit to take part

  • Informing us of any relevant medical conditions in advance (a Seawilding medical form will need to be completed prior to the course)

  • Following all safety instructions provided by course leaders

​

We reserve the right to remove participants from activities if safety instructions are not followed.

​

6. Weather & Environmental Conditions

​

Marine restoration activities are dependent on weather, tides, and site conditions. Course activities may be adapted or altered at short notice to ensure safety and suitability.

7. Insurance & Liability

​

We hold appropriate public liability insurance.

However, participation is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for:

​

  • Personal injury (except where caused by negligence)

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

​

8. Media Consent

​

Photographs or videos may be taken during courses for use in promotional materials. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to be included.

​

9. Minimum Age Requirement

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the course. By booking, participants confirm that they meet this requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age where necessary.

10. Payment Method

Payments are made via invoice. Details for bank transfer will be provided on the invoice.
