Location
The courses will take place at Seawilding’s headquarters - our boatshed on the beach - a beautifully rustic and picturesque location on the shores of Loch Craignish, just past the village of Ardfern, in Argyll & Bute, Scotland. The space includes a large open area, a small classroom space, and a long-drop toilet. Facilities are somewhat limited, with no running water but there is heating and power is supplied by a solar battery system.
The boatshed offers direct access to our donor seagrass meadow and main seagrass restoration area, just a few metres from the shoreline, as well as our mooring for trips around the loch and visits to our oyster nursery.
